Compendium Selected as One of the Top Three Innovations by Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Members, the Worlds Largest Marketing Organization

Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) June 23, 2011

Yesterday, Compendium was named one of the top three Early Stage Innovations at the Direct Marketing Associations All For One Summit. This award comes on the heels of a 2011 eCommerce Rising Star award. In addition, one of Compendiums clients, Granite State College, earned a Merit recognition in the Total Advertising Award category for schools under 2,000 students from the Higher Ed Marketing Report for an integrated marketing campaign based in its blog. Together, these national awards recognize the impact of the Compendium platform in improving its clients online presence.

Were honored to be recognized for the innovation involved in creating a business blogging platform that gives the control of the message back to the marketer, said Frank Dale, President of Compendium.

Not only can marketers manage their blogs without burdening their IT staffs or relying on do-it-yourself alternatives, but Compendium makes it easy for them to capture customer stories to share.

The DMA Early Stage Innovation recognition was earned based on texted votes from the All For One Summit attendees. The award celebrates advancement in direct and digital marketing technology. Entries were based on three main criteria: how innovative the product or service is, the impact the product or service has on an end-user, and whether or not the product or service has made a difference in the community at large. A panel of judges will determine the ultimate winner who will receive their award along with other Innovation Award winners at DMA2011 in Boston on Tuesday, October 4.

World Business Research uses its Rising Stars designation to recognize companies that the eTail community feel have the leading-edge in value, performance and service excellence and are helping retailers advance their cause. Compendium was nominated as a Rising Star in the Content Marketing category by clients Gymboree Play and Music, Taiga Company, Lexicomp.com, and IVLProducts.

Granite State College began using the Compendium platform to let their students share the impact that getting an education had on their lives. Because of the enthusiasm of student bloggers, Granite State translated blog stories into an integrated marketing campaign including billboards, print ads and even a new sub-brand, "Granite State College Stories". The Higher Education Marketing Report recognized the power of this campaign with a Total Advertising Award category for schools under 2,000 students.

With more than 400 customers, Compendium is quickly becoming the business blogging platform of choice for marketers who are creating and capturing content online while maintaining control over the content they choose to represent their brand.
